What You’ll Need:

  • A small vessel (a bucket works great)
  • Bucket-sized container filled with water
  • Drinking glasses
  • Soda stream (or pressure cooker if you have one)
  • Ice Cubes
  • Cocktail Shaker
  • Shaker Strainer
  • Bottle Opener
  • Corkscrew
  • Cheesecloth
  • Rubber Band

Directions:

Fill your vessel about 1/3 full of ice cubes. Fill the rest of the container with cold tap water and place it in the freezer until solid. You want your ice cube tray to be set firmly in the bottom of the vessel. Once frozen, pour off as much water from the ice. Now add some soda water and shake well. Pour into drinking glasses until they’re half full then cap them with plastic lids. Put all of the cocktail ingredients inside the shaker except for the olive oil and bitters.

Place the lid on top and turn the shaker upside down over the sink. Shake vigorously for 10 seconds then remove the lid and stir gently. Add the olives and shake again for 5 seconds. Remove the lid and give it another good shake. Then slowly pour the mixture into the chilled glasses with the rubber bands. Garnish with a few drops of olive oil and a dash of bitters. Serve!

And don’t forget about lighting up the pool itself! Floating candles or light-up pool toys will add a touch of magic to your party.
